The School Games
The School Games is a National Programme supported by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport, Sport England and the Youth Sport Trust. The programme is free to all schools in the UK, and is delivered by a network of over 450 School Games Organisers who are employed locally by partnerships and networks such as the Leicester City School Sport & Physical Activty Network.
The mission of the School Games:
As the country looks to recover from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, we believe that the School Games has a vital part to play in an active recovery term where the health and wellbeing of young people is prioritised. This is through providing the opportunity for young people to reconnect and recover through positive experiences of daily activity and competition.
